Warranty Policy

Structural Warranty

We provide 12 months structural warranty covering manufacturing defects in the container home framework. This warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers factory-installed components.

Component Warranty

All included fixtures, fittings, and appliances are covered under manufacturer warranties. We warrant that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 6 months from the date of pick up. 

– We will repair or replace, at our discretion, any faulty part or product free of charge within the warranty period.

– We may engage a licensed tradesperson or technician to carry out repairs.

– In cases requiring product return, you are responsible for associated return freight costs.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

– Damage due to improper use, accidents and modifications.

– General wear and tear or cosmetic changes over time.

– Products altered, modified, or repaired by non-authorised personnel.

– Environmental factors such as flooding, bushfires, or extreme weather.

– Damage caused by improper installation by third parties.

– Cosmetic imperfections or minor damage that do not affect functionality.

Installation & Setup Requirements

If applicable, the product must be installed or connected by appropriately licensed professionals (e.g., electrician, plumber, handyman). You are responsible for:

– Ensuring proper installation.

– Complying with relevant safety and building regulations.

– All costs related to setup and installation.

We accept no liability for damage, injury, or loss resulting from installation or use of third-party tradespeople. You agree to indemnify us against such claims.

Maintenance Requirements

To maintain warranty coverage, regular maintenance is required. Customers must follow recommended care instructions and conduct periodic inspections.

Claims Process

All warranty claims must be submitted in writing with supporting photographs. Once assessed, we will determine if repairs or replacements are necessary. We reserve the right to:

– Inspect the product and verify the fault.

– Replace parts with components of similar quality and performance.

Limitations of Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

– Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

– We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of income, downtime, or damage to property.

– You agree to indemnify us for any such claims or damages.

Refunds

Requests for refunds will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and are at our sole discretion. If approved:
– The product must be returned in its original condition.

– You will bear the costs of disassembly, packing, and return freight.

General Terms

– It is your responsibility to ensure the product is suitable for your intended use.

– You must check with your local council and relevant authorities regarding compliance, usage, and occupancy (where applicable).
